have office 365 / 2016 installed , seemingly sent items have disappeared outlook, strangely still found on android phone in sent items? using standard android mail app, happened & how resolve lost almost  years inbox mails earlier year , not recover in same manner

#1 - type of email account (pop3, imap, exchange etc) involved in both outlook , on android device?

#2 - email service provider (i.e. outlook.com, gmail, etc etc)

#3 - use 3rd party sync software between outlook , phone?

#4 - how many different devices connect email account in question?

fact you've lost data in <inbox> , in <sent> items points sync based issue.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
