Why does it take 7 calls and 5 hours to speak to a Microsoft level 2 - Microsoft Community


i updated outlook 2016 (office 365) on weekend , outlook ran slow. slow in 10 minutes used take 2 seconds. did ton of research, tried troubleshooting recommendations , decided reinstall outlook (well can't reinstall outlook, have of office, wonderful). after new install still had same problem. tried reinstall second time , can't open outlook. error "cannot start outlook, cannot open outlook, unexpected error". 

so called customer service. explained issue, transferred me level 2 technician, call got lost. called back, had start over. did total of 5 times , every time call got lost during transfer. on 6th time, after 55 minutes of waiting spoke name "jelly". said cannot me without case number. said didn't have one. put me on hold additional 65 minutes (120 total , counting). while waiting jelly, called on phone, had start over. got case number time, on hold 50 minutes (on second line) trying level 2 technician.

this sucks.

at point, since you've tried possible troubleshooting steps, we encourage submit feedback issue outlook 2016. here's link where can either vote existing submission or submit new issue.

when submit feedback item, microsoft engineers gather additional details , information issue determine what’s causing , address it. feedback items regularly receive microsoft responses on submissions can see doing feedback.
