Setting tabs in word 2008 (12.3.6 version used on Mac) - Microsoft Community


hello! 

somehow struggling setting tabs while working on cv.

i have left alignment (obviously) dates...then want create new alignment/ tab name of organisation/ job role.

very non-common sense @ moment...can't figure out , tutorials have seen haven't helped/ show different versions.

working 'word 2008' version 12.3.6 on apple mac book pro (early 2015 model).

thanks suggestions.

additional information on tabs in word's help> word help 1 of straightforward articles i've seen:

word 2008: setting tabs, uwec

setting tab stops pretty same in version of word, though. if have specific issue please describe how articles fail provide result want.

fwiw, suggest wanting facilitated using table rather tabs.
