how revert office 2008?

man, sure unbecoming rena give hard sell on office 365 when microsoft's faulty autoupdate culprit here.

all 2008 licenses perpetual , not expire. can continue using office 2008 forever long or apple don't change hardware or mac os in way breaks it. 

i suggest using office 2008 turn off autoupdate. this, open microsoft word 2008, go menu , choose check updates. launches autoupdate app. set autoupdate manual , close autoupdate.

before consider upgrading office 2016, make sure mac meets system requirements. not that, office 2016 nearing end of life cycle. microsoft has announced office 2019 out soon. don't buy perpetual license of 2016. 365 subscription, instead. don't buy don't need. if office 2008 working you, stick it.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
