Auto-update calendar subscriptions - Microsoft Community

hej,

i searched around forum , not find resolved issue. mac user , happy office 365 . lately we've decided skip using apples built in mail , calendar apps , use outlook. works fine except calendar subscription feature. 

the calendar subscription feature works nice when importing calendar file first time, if need through web interface , cannot use outlook mac task. however, in our organisation subscript calendar events published our business system , these subscriptions updates often. these updates seems auto-update poorly in outlook/exchange. 

the attached screenshot (sorry swedish!) shows drop-down menu in apples calendar program set auto-update frequence calendar subscriptions. "varje vecka" = weekly, "varje dag" = daily, "varje timme" = hourly etc. our setting every 5 minutes, since want change in business system show quick possible in people's personal calendars. 

so, how handle auto-update feature in outlook/exchange?

as per knowledge, since can't add calendar in outlook mac via opening calendar using url. so, auto-updating calendar subscriptions requirement isn't feasible achieve far. given situation, suggest feedback feature our related team via outlook uservoice improvement our outlook mac.

 

however, may try on outlook web app (owa) office 365 account. please see:

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
