MS Word for Mac icons blank after High Sierra and MS Word 1540 upgrade - Microsoft Community

msword icons blank on desktop w lines in finder high sierra

 

two weeks ago in preparation upgrading 2015 macbook air high sierra, upgraded ms office mac 2016 1539 version. downloaded high sierra. (later upgraded 1540, trying solve icon problem.)  my purchased version (3/2017 1 time download) never had real ms word icons on desktop—usually there lines looked text no blue lines or blue w. these blue lines appear split second upon starting mac, regular icons appear in finder window if display mode “list”. (this true other office applications , pdf well.) don’t know if concerned about—or live with.

 

i tried downloading , using liteicon fix didn’t find working , seemed mess things further—probably fault.  if not signal larger wrong, can live it.  but notice if don’t close msword file , shut down computer, @ top of screen message sending error report microsoft.  when left word file open before, did not happen—that before high sierra/1539 ms word mac upgrades. used disk repair in utilities , no problems surfaced.  next step?

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
