Issue with adding shared Calendar to Outlook 2016 for Mac - Microsoft Community


hello all,

we've noticed issue adding shared calendars of meeting rooms in our organization outlook 2016 mac (version 15.38 170902).

some permissions meeting rooms changed on our exchange 2013 (on-premise) before noticed issue occurred. accessrights permission was changed reviewer limiteddetails using following powershell command:

set-mailboxfolderpermission roomname:\calendar -user default -accessrights limiteddetails

immediately after meeting rooms calendars disappeared calendar tab in outlook 2016 mac. it's impossible add using "open shared calendar" button. same option (open shared calendar) same meeting room works fine in outlook 2016 windows.

in order make sure accessrights permission main reason issue, we've switched reviewer and allowed again open shared calendar of meeting room.

i have tried workaround:

but group similar folders, such inboxes, different accounts is missing.

could please let me know if there known solution issue?

based on search, outlook mac cannot open calendar when calendar folder permission level set free/busy. permission should reviewer or higher.
