Outlook 2016 no longer sending emails - Microsoft Community

hello,

about week ago, sent 2 emails outlook 2016 program , still sitting in "outbox" waiting sent. before that, had no issues sending emails.

to clear, having issues outgoing server, incoming fine. i'm getting of emails, can't send emails. have closed , re-opened outlook, have rebooted computer, nothing seems work. have had similar problems in past, closing , re-opening or, @ least, restarting computer works.

there things cause outlook 2016 not send email messages. 1 factor can may have typed dns address or new server address instead of mail server address. suggest follow instructions provided on link.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
