Sync error with a shared folder in SharePoint - Microsoft Community

hi,

i installed office 16 version 16.0.7726.1049 64-bits using school account, , every app working fine, except onedrive business. counsellor master dissertation has shared folder me on sharepoint site of university. when try sync shared folder local computer, while logged in onedrive school account, gives following error:

"this library can no longer synchronized application. sync these files, use latest onedrive application"

however, onedrive sync map sharepoint (as associated icon of sharepoint in right corner of folder icon), , others files i've uploaded myself. so, seems make connection sharepoint, fails sync shared folder. counsellor did not give permissions parent folders, i'm not sure how relevant is. 

i read there have been problems regarding onedrive business, can't seem grab hold on specific problem i'm having, , whether or not there solution provided microsoft.
