Synch error code: 0xE402005F when transferring OneNote files from - Microsoft Community

hi,

i trying move onenote files work windows laptop macbook. tried synch them personal onedrive account login on mac , download kept facing synch errors. work around this, located onenote files on laptop , manually uploaded them onedrive through webpage, on mac logged in onedrive, right clicked each notebook , clicked 'open in onenote'.

for 50% of notebooks, fine , synched perfectly. other 50%, sections downloaded, , others empty , come message "we ran problem syncing notebook. (error code: 0xe402005f)".

i have tried open these files in onenote online , message "something went wrong , couldn't load content. refreshing browser may fix problem".

i have tried using different browsers, on both home , work networks no luck.

i have tried closing notebooks, deleting onedrive, reuploading , re-synching on mac same sections fail.

i have tried deleting .onetoc2 file folder, , re-synching doesn't help.

the failed sections work on onenote on work laptop, no error messages or reasons suspicious corrupt files.

it doesn't matter if upload failed sections individually, or rest of notebook, before synching - fail.

this extremely urgent use these files @ work regularly , has taken me years gather these resources. have atached screenshots below of 1 of failed sections. failed sections have same message both in onenote on mac , onenote online.

the error message getting may related corrupted table of content file (toc). better assist you, suggest try steps stated on support website: fix issues when can't sync onenote. article contains troubleshooting steps can perform address query.
