Skype for business - Microsoft Community


i have downloaded , installed skype business 2016 on laptop, when sign in stuck on "contacting server , signing in". can login office 365 account , did connectivity analyzer test , successful, still cannot login skype business 2016.

follow steps below clear skype business cache:

1. log out of skype business. 

2. delete sign-in info , exit skype business. 

3. open run bar , type in %appdata%. make sure you're in appdata directory , navigate \local\microsoft\office\16.0\lync\ skype business  

4. delete sip_profilename folder. if not see folder, check \local\microsoft\communicator directory. 

5. delete files in tracing folder. not delete folder itself. 

6. clear dns cache: in command prompt run ipconfig /flushdns command.

then, refer article and this thread see if issue can resolved. , let know skype business account's environment, such pure online, hybrid, or on-premises.
