I purchased MS Office H&S 2016 for Mac but when I open word I get - Microsoft Community

i have purchased ms office h&s 2016 computer in our office when open word doesn't ms word 2016, says version 15.36 (170702) that? don't want office 365 or cloud based subscription version.

version 15 means have office 2016

version 15.36 36th major update office 2016, , current update. means install , you're right date.

having office 365 subscriptions means new features introduced office. if had retail or other kind of purchase, see features existed when office 2016 first released. because have subscription, have neat features morph , design in powerpoint.

since office 2016 nearing end of product life-cycle did right thing getting subscription instead of permanent license. you're seeing many features released in year or in next permanent license version, version 16.

as store files, entirely you. subscription comes "cloud storage," allows save files on microsoft servers can access them wherever go if have internet connection. can toggle in file > save , choose on computer if prefer save locally.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
