Outlook 2007 very slow search - Microsoft Community

hi,

i running office 2007 on pc running windows 10. since carried out last pc updates have had issues search function in outlook 2007.

no matter email search pc displays relevant emails mid september , before straight away, takes 5-10 minutes emails arrived after date display.

i have tried rebuilding index, no joy. did find strange when go tools>instant search>search options, nothing listed in indexing data files. not sure if correct?

does have ideas? understand 2007 has reached end of life cycle, i'm 1 in company running windows 10 , aren't going pay office upgrades me, workaround if there one. 

tried repairing pst's, reindexing , else - nothing worked except below mentioned.


-first of .pst files in case, might unnecessary, it's better safe sorry.

(copy pst's , rest of user data in pst folder desktop or anywhere like, long isn't default outlook data file directory)

-make sure have outlook 2007 instalation (.iso or cd)

-when you've done 'forementioned can proceed uninstall whole office package add/remove programs.

-reboot pc. install office 2007, reboot again.

-start outlook, wait configure , load.

-wait indexing finish.

voila!

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
