Folder & Subfolders missing in Outlook 2013 - Microsoft Community

i posted yesterday, reason thread locked , cannot reply acelyn alc, copying/pasting question/reply/answer , trying again.

i have gmail account synced outlook, , today, 1 of folders , of sub-folders inside folder missing.  i've looked missing email know in 1 of folders, , done control-shift-f thing, , says it's located in "inbox", it's not.  i've downloaded mfcmapi program, , missing folder not located ipm_subtree drop down list either.  it showing when log gmail account on-line, sub-folders within folder.  how folder , it's sub-folders outlook?  help please!!!

hi kat,

for have better view of concern, please provide following information:

  • what type of email account set in outlook (pop3, imap, exchange , exchange active sync)?
  • do receive error messages when click on ‘send/receive’?
  • how many data files opened in navigation pane of outlook 2013?

meanwhile, suggest check if folders , sub-folders visible on web mail. if not, let's reset outlook folder , check if can locate sub-folder.

to this, click on start > all programs > accessories > run copy , paste the following command line in open box , press enter > outlook / reset folders.

  • how many data files opened in navigation pane of outlook 2013?  i have 10 email accounts in navigation pane in outlook 2013

in windows 10, there no "run" dialogue box in start menu, able search "run" comes desktop app, , entered command line suggested.  nothing happened.  my missing folder & sub-folders still gone.  

what else can try?  again, folder , it's sub-folders show on web based gmail.  thank help.

hi hal....quick update.  i deleted account, , added back.  everything there, including missing folder & sub-folders , it's working properly!  thanks help!  that easier trying figure out problem , fix it.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
