Font Changing - Microsoft Community

using microsoft office standard 2013.  over past couple of days, have been working on several documents in word.  these documents typed using times new roman font.  when save them , go them later in day or next day, font has changed cg times.  i don't have cg times on computer, haven't used in years, , isn't option under fonts drop down box.  i know isn't i'm imagining or user error because 2 of word documents saved pdfs , pdf version correctly displaying times new roman font, word version screwy when open up.  has been happening else?  if so, please advise.  thank you!

1. when did issue occur?

2. working fine before?

3. happening specific file?

4. have tried opening same file on different computer , getting same issue?
