Email message icon doesn’t change to read status - Microsoft Community

why messages present envelope icon never changes read status?

in example can see skype meeting conversation

even if mark skype meeting conversation read show “envelope icon”  stating it’s unread on “icon” column if have icon on column ”read” displaying message read.

opening mfcmapi , verifying what’s causing behavior can see message used in example has following pr_message_class value “ipm.note.microsoft.conversation”

if change value default message class attribute ipm.note outlook following example:

the behavior of affected message changed, , behave regular outlook email message

this behavior not seen of skype conversation messages in other messages received other services , providers. unfortunately, don’t have way bulk change “pr_message_class” messages received in outlook “ipm.note” automatically. can disable visibility of icon changing view of column “icon” in outlook. removing column workaround “issue”.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
