How to turn Outlook Mail notifications - Microsoft Community

i cannot outlook mail notifications turned on. went through long windows 10 update. problem? have gone in settings page, found notifications on switch mail, when click it stays grey , off.

moved from: outlook.com / email / connecting outlook.com apps , devices

updates can cause issues greyed out options in apps. if email app in concern windows 10 mail app, advise running app troubleshooter windows 10.

if using outlook, which version have? also, try running online repair office, , see how goes.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
