anyone out there in world can help!

i’m using windows 10, ms office 2007 , browser edge.

i cannot open links in office outlook. error message reads: “this operation has been cancelled due restrictions in effect on computer. please contact system administrator.”

i have reset explorer wont work!

is there answer or shall dump office suite?

moved windows / windows 10 / windows settings

use windows 10 mail modern, works , has huge ad-free inbox , reading pane can merge of webmail , office mail accounts.

if want try make outlook 2007 work correctly i'd uninstall 3rd party anti-virus try rid of restrictions should not appear. use built-in defender best windows performance least issues this.

if isn't enough i'd uninstall, restart pc , reinstall office 2007.

check @ settings>apps>default apps make sure outlook set default mail client, , edge or whatever browser prefer set default browser.

@ link in default apps choose file type, i'd associate .pdf adobe reader if have it, or edge if don't.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
