Unable to safe documents on OneDrive or other cloud drives Office 2016 - Microsoft Community


i want save documents (excel, word, powerpoint) on onedrive or other cloud drives.

when doing ("save as" , "save") explorer windows opens following error message displayed "a file error has occurred." , not let me continue. way save work saving on harddisk (using save in of office programs) , later move file using explorer onto onedrive or other cloud directory.

once have moved file in correct cloud storage drive can use usual, make changes , use "save" in office2016 normal. 

hence seems issue occurring when create new document or when storing document (received e-mail) first time on cloud drive. 

this happens office2016 programs. have no issues other sw programs incl. inter alia adobe. issue occurred first on 2017 10 09

any ideas?

this issue saving onedrive office application have happened due settings , configuration. suggest follow steps provided in article to set onedrive windows 10 , office 2016.
