Outlook 2016 using two factor authentication - Microsoft Community


we enabled 2-factor authentication on 3 months ago.  in past 2 week have had several users having either re-enter password created app pass or have create new one.  users happens several times.  ideas?

hi,

outlook may have encountered software conflict caused issue. correct issue, we'd know more information. kindly answer following questions:

  • did sync outlook 2016 application outlook.com?
  • have tried turning off 2 step verification?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?
