Outlook Search function only picks up last month of emails - Microsoft Community

admin has upgraded macbook air macos sierra v10.12.5. outlook upgraded @ same time version 15.36.1. search function picks emails last month, , there doesn't seem way define search period longer times. have manually located email 3 or 4 months ago, run search, , has not found email have highlighted! have answer issue?

since search can return emails (not older 1 month), understanding search function not complete. , searching in outlook mac, comes spotlight search indexing. outlook 2016 mac spotlight search indexing in incomplete. if case, may wait indexing finish , search again.

if issue persists, please clarify whether outlook 2016 mac production version or inside slow version. better if can upload screenshot production version.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
