Outlook for Android Problem and resolution - Microsoft Community

we bought 2 galaxy note 8 phones , added outlook android. phone added outlook, comcast , google email accounts no problem. on wife's phone 2 of three. either outlook or comcast, not both. ms support told me reinstall outlook. did , did not solve problem. while working samsung tech , tutor noticed when add comcast acct added outlook acct on wife's phone, on mine imap acct. got off samsung tech , check wife's msft acct. had comcast acct set primary outlook email acct. changed outlook primary. did not fix phone problem. had remove comcast acct mymsft acct. had fool outlook android letting me manually configure comcast email.  while comcast uses pop3 , smtp still need chose imap.  outlook configure , comcast mail. comcast set correctly able add outlook email acct had three.

also, many have complained getting outlook/msft contacts android. on phone using outlook android go outlook/settings , tap msft outlook email acct , tell synch contacts. when done appear in im , phone contacts. guessing may need regularly maintain changes.  nice if automatic.  since web has many wondering how wanted share , since first item on setup puzzling ms techs wanted share issue , fix. clue fix both observation , hint msft gave me link doc on aliases use in outlook.

btb- love phone , love outlook android avid ms office , windows users.  left our windows phones trepidation. office android makes less difficult. thank microsoft.
