Syncing a Samsung A5 with Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community

hi there. have new samsung a5 phone. use windows 10 (64 bit) on asus laptop. have office 2016 suite , use outlook 2016. have no interest in using web-based platform email, contacts , appointments.

when had htc phone, able sync outlook phone. far, have not found solution syncing outlook samsung a5. able me issue?

hi bill,

setting outlook can sync , access email, calendar , contacts on android device. confirm if have set outlook on device. if not, can use android app set outlook. here's how:

1. open outlook android.

2. tap get started if it's first time. or, go settings > add account > add email account.

3. enter full email address, tap continue.

4. enter email account password , tap sign in or next.

5. if have two-step verification turned on, identify using method chose (6 digit code, phone, or using microsoft authenticator app).

6. outlook may request permission access calendar, contacts, etc. tap yes or allow.
