i have office 2016, not office 365. states "this product not updated". how turn on updates office 2016 (not 365)?

the error message this product not updated occurs when office updates have been disabled manually. enable automatic updates, kindly follow steps provided on link and the manually configure automatic update section. meanwhile, if updates being managed group policy settings. kindly automatic updates managed group policy section on same link we've provided.

note: section, method, or task contains steps tell how modify registry. however, serious problems might occur if modify registry incorrectly. therefore, make sure follow these steps carefully. can registry before modify it. this, follow steps on link. serve added protection can restore registry if problem occurs.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
