Make "Other Calendar" sharable through the Global Address List - Microsoft Community

hello friends,

have complex calendar sharing problem. 

the goal:

i working @ school, have outlook account associate events.

i want have events calendar searchable within organization (i.e. students) through "add calendar -> directory" , able see full details. additionally, have 20+ editors (i.e. teachers) able edit , add events calendar.

main purpose students add events calendar "other calendars" section of office 365 outlook calendar view events added teachers calendar. students able achieve going through "add calendar -> directory" method. (so without having use link, or being emailed share invite)

the problem:

upon inheriting events account, there small problem. calendar included dates , has 20+ editors considered "other calendar" not default calendar associated account. if try add accounts calendar student account through "add calendar" method mentioned above, default calendar, , not "other calendar" populated hundreds of events.

there way make "other calendar" can searched through "add calendar" directory? out of luck , have pester 20+ people again share request add events default calendar?

recognize question convoluted. achieve end goal little disruption users possible. don't want have email 20+ people again , tell them should start editing different calendar on same account.

outlook not limit number of delegates can add. however, recommend grant editor permissions 1 (1) delegate. for detailed information, please see:

meanwhile, if calendar can searched within organization, must valid user's calendar or group calendar.  however, group calendar have 10 owners (editors) in maximum.

 

so, it's not feasible achieve requirement. given situation, please submit feedback our related team via link below:

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
