SmartArt, Charts tool stripes are greyed out in MS Word 2011 for Mac - Microsoft Community

i let myself refer smartart greyed out.

in user bop jones listed possible causes , can confirm #3 happened in case. created original document in apple pages'09 converted it  ms word 1997-2004 format , uploaded onedrive. having opened in ms document connection.app  see both charts , smartart inactive stripes. re-saved docx no avail. still can't make use of both.

could me should fix this?

uhm, thanks, able regain smartart , charts  re-saving docx 1 more time. understand ms wants move on newer software but, frankly, thought support forum provides "support" (hence name comes) regardless of version, old or new, cosidering ms dropped support not long ago. considering 1 (like me) has no reason subscription updates since 1 satisfied ms office 2011, ui , paid-flat basis of acquiring it.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
