Can't add External Skype Accounts in my Skype for Business - Microsoft Community

i got office 365 @ workplace.

as part of office 365, have skype business application installed on laptop.

recently told can add external skype users contact list in skype business.

i typed in external skype hotmail email address, , add user contact list. says pending, waiting request.

the external skype hotmail user didn't prompt or invite or message added on contact list.

i getting frustrated right now.

both myself , skype hotmail user cannot im, video or call each other @ all.

i need lot of help.

note: don't have admin right office 365 in computer. provide instruction on please? can send helpdesk follow instruction.

based on experience, there many reasons cause "delay", organization has policy need passed admin, settings cause on recipient side, maybe related firewall cause connection issue, etc.

 

according message " against company policy" mentioned above, "delay" should related organization policy, need confirm admin.

 

meanwhile, microsoft representative right, multi-party im conversations skype contacts feature isn't available. detailed information, please see: what features available when adding skype contacts.
