Outlook 15 automatically changes email name while replying back - Microsoft Community

hello all,

i use mac machine office work login using employee number "123456" , password. have office v 15 installed on mac configured using official email address *** email address removed privacy *** name appears "behera, anup" in list, mails sent me. whenever reply email, outlook automatically changes name in mail body "behera, anup" 123456. when recipient receive email shows coming "behera, anup" in mail body, in mail trail, see number 123456 , start asking 123456 whom mail sent. mac contacts, had removed 987898 contact app also, still problem persists. or suggestions please?

regarding “but in mail body, in mail trail, see number 123456”, give screenshot of better understanding?

 

to check if problem related email account or outlook mac client, please try using web application send test email , check if problem still persists.

 

if problem doesn’t occur when using web application, problem related outlook client. please tell detailed version of outlook mac client use , screenshot of affected email.
