The High Fidelity option is not preserving image quality when saving - Microsoft Community


hi, 

i using windows 7 / office 365 home, high fidelity option not preserving image quality used be, saving using ms word's save dialogue, browse, changing file type .docx .pdf, under tools / compress pictures selecting high fidelity, , making sure high fidelity still selected opening / closing / re-opening compress pictures sub-dialogue.  however, output pdf has lower image quality original, , small text on images not legible anymore. don't know happened ms word, because same method used work before. did ms release update corrupted feature recently? or there new way it?

please advise.

i not aware compress pictures has impact when document being saved pdf, there 2 options - standard (publishing online , printing) , minimum size (publishing online)

however, might consider downloading , using free primopdf converter install printer gives pre-press , customizable options.
