Outlook email display name - Microsoft Community

hi all,

having real problem here.

currently have 4 ms accounts work.

on work pc use ms outlook 2013.

i noticed chance today when send email shows wrong name before email address recipient. have further checked sending myself emails various accounts , not happy way display/what show.

i have managed establish name displayed how displayed when log outlook.com on top right hand corner life of me cannot find way change how displays.

i have tried changing profile name in outlook.com, tried change name on ms profile account. shows change except outlook.com top right hand corner email page.

please please help!

ms outlook on work pc uses eas exchange assume display name change needs done certal place. have tried changing outlook office 2013 , cannot find there either.

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
