Skype for Business dialogs are tiny - scaling issue - Lync manifest - Microsoft Community

i'm interested in solutions, if has come across following behaviour we're not alone ...

a few weeks ago user's skype business hover dialogs resized , appear this:

(this regardless of size of skype business window)

i've uninstalled office , reinstalled no effect.

if delete lync.exe.manifest text visible has blurry dpi effect (and there's no option change compatibility mode right clicking on shortcut/properties etc).

and if change manifest <dpiaware>true</dpiaware> <dpiaware>true/pm</dpiaware> makes no difference either.

any advice welcome.

the lync.exe.manifest file below ...
