Single user, Office 2016 Upload Center keeps breaking - Microsoft Community

the user getting following :

this issue has occurred same user on 2 separate computers when accessing different documents in sharepoint 2013.  original computer had same issue around 6 months.  cleared/rebuilt/renamed cache multiple times based on research did @ time.  never resolved.  user experiencing problems changes not saved, suspected due upload center. 

user given brand new computer pristine image.  within 2 weeks same issues started occurring again.  may important note no other user in company has of these issues computers same image while accessing same system.  clicking repair nothing.  clearing cache through settings nothing.  happens both word , excel.

please ask user try following suggestion, see if help:

1. right click on start bar , click on ‘task manager’.
2. in task manager window, click details tab.
3. find , kill processes use the microsoft office document cache along with microsoft office upload center. check process using microsoft office document cache, check the description column, see if there’s process using microsoft office document cache, select , click end task.

       4. go to %userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\office\16.0\

       5. here directory named ‘officefilecache. rename ‘old_officefilecache’. not delete yet.

       6. restart computer. upload center recreate directory.

 

if issue persists, please provide following information: 

1. which onedrive sync client user using? confirm, hover on onedrive sync client on system tray, when sees pop box name, take screenshot , send us.
2. go to control panel>uninstall program (control panel\programs\programs , features), if sees microsoft onedrive, please take screenshot version information.
