outlook 2010 wont connect to internet - Microsoft Community

pop3.live.com  receiving reported error  (0x8004210a): ‘the operation timed out waiting response receiving (pop) server.  if continue receive message, contact server administrator or internet service provider (isp)’

click on file, info, account settings.
pop3.live.com default email account.
click on repair, , auto account setup appears. says click next connect mail server , automatically configure account settings.  info appears correct.

clicking on next gets screen:
configuring email server settings. might take several minutes:
  x   establish network connection.
automatic connection cannot established. connect internet or network before click retry.  
retry grayed out. option available cancel. outlook refuses connect internet hotmail account only.

manually configure account settings fails.

in outlook 2010 use auto setup page mail address & password needed, there may other steps if 2 factor authentication set https://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/outlookcommigrationinfo.htm#outlook2010

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
