Outlook for Mac (16.8 - 171107) "New Folder" toolbar - Microsoft Community

i use outlook mac google mail. have noticed "new folder" button in toolbar disabled. has functionality been removed creating folders (aka google mail labels) outlook?

thank reply . since using google in outlook(preview) , creating , renaming , deleting folder in outlook not supported . can create or update label in gmail , take day appear in outlook . can refer link in last reply more detailed information .

 

if want use function in outlook , can use imap set gmail account .

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
