Office 365 Contacts Won't let me Edit - Microsoft Community

saw long posting of people complaining not being able sync , update contacts through office 365.  i tried call contact on iphone 6s today have added office 365 several times.  the contact did not appear on phone.  it did not appear in outlook 2010.  yet when went office 365 account there 3 times!  and when tried edit 1 of contacts missing mobile phone # said "can't edit this"....  what solution!  that's why bought office 365 link outlook , appear on phone , vice versa.  very frustrating.

for issue of editing, have try change browser check, or clear browser cache? if no, please kindly try it.

 

i not asking password, , domain name provided not right one, domain name behind @ of email address. example, *** email address removed privacy ***, “mintestone.com” domain, please provide in pm.

 

for syncing contact, please go contacts in iphone, choose groups, check if account chosen. meanwhile, please check if problematic contacts exist in outlook client. if so, delete them there , check outcome. , have noted please upgrade outlook client 2010 2016.

 

if admin, please try , remove contact powershell command, if not admin, please ask admin help:

 

1. connect exchange online
2. run command: get-mailcontact
3. run command: remove-mailcontact
