SharePoint enable users to download files other than PDF - Microsoft Community

i have lowest user permission set read only. should enable users download documents sharepoint. however, users can download pdf version of documents sharepoint. need users able download .xlxs , .docx too. create variety of templates users need able download in variety of file formats. can make possible?

to better understand situation, i'd confirm following things:

1. give user read or view permission? have customized options these 2 permission levels?

2.by "can download pdf", mean firstly access file office online, , click "..." @ right-top of page. can see download pdf? if in library, directly click "..." next file, see download , download proper file? (left menu in word online, right menu in library)

3.in other libraries, give user read permission. check if user can download proper file. lets know if issue related specific library. 

4. library in default team site or site related group/team/plan?

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
