Outlook 2010 will not sync folders with Outlook.com - Microsoft Community

i have windows 10 pc date windows updates. i'm using outlook 2010 latest updates including week's kb2956078 , first install of outlook account on pc. have created today new outlook.com personal account i.e. *** email address removed privacy ***. read online hotmail connector no longer needed when setup account in outlook refused connect , offered me outlook connector install did. allowed me connect error 0x8004102a returned by outlook.com error 80041004 'error synchronising folder hierarchy'. i've done right things doesn't work; ideas? why ms outlook.com no longer requires outlook connector when does?

ok update. deleted account , existing .ost file in outlook folder in documents. re-installed outlook connector. set account again via control panel/mail. time account setup exchange account , not mapi 1 (why different time?). account works fine , had delete old mapi account reason outlook didn't forget. outlook , ms mail websites never cease bring new problems....

the error code 0x8004102a reported when outlook hotmail connector account syncing changes folder , cannot find folder in outlook client. know more causes , available ways fix this, click on link.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
