MS Project Outlining - Expand Collapse only a select portion of the - Microsoft Community

i have project 4 levels of outlining , thousands of lines.

i have, example z following structure.

a

a.1

a.1.1; and

a.1.1.1

b

b.1

b.1.1; and

b.1.1.1

c

c.1

c.1.1; and

c.1.1.1

...

z

how expand/collapse b see, example:

a

b

b.1

b.1.1; and

b.1.1.1

c

...

z

yes, realize can click each level open or close, (with thousands of lines) take way time.  think select collapsed "b" row , expand when try ms project expands a, b, c way z.  

help.

sorry, i'm little confused last paragraph. clicking each level open (expand?) or close (collapse?) if levels expand or collapse.

as far automated way of selectively expanding or collapsing various levels in project, no, there no shortcut other using little + or - icon next summary level. automate process, need write vba code.
