Outlook mail on the web with google mail - all a little bit wrong - Microsoft Community

hi there,

i using outlook web mail via microsoft account (which on home 365).  went mail , signed in , voila had mail account :-)

as use own email address login name noticed account in mail shows as

*** email address removed privacy *** xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx unique guid.  presumably assigned when created account or something.

i have setup mail read , send google account , in main works. have questions though.

1) can change *** email address removed privacy *** account else?  i'd prefer if @ least displayed per ms account i.e. main email address.  extremely confusing when in android client there 2 of these.  can handle concept, wife cannot.  happily choose better outlook.com name or transfer existing 1 have got.

2) cannot open attachments or embed photos in mails.  because using gmail account or else?

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Office / Skype for Business / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
