About error in MS outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community

im using ms office 2016 now, when went send email, "send/receive error" message pop up. restore settings, through command prompt, issue stuck there. had entered valid server running same on other computer , working fine. receives mail, cant send it.

please me out.

the challenge experiencing when you're trying send emails using outlook can occur due several reasons, such as, incorrect email account settings, connectivity issues, etc. better assist you, kindly answer following questions:

  • what exact error message getting?
  • what exact troubleshooting steps you've taken besides restoring settings? avoid providing same steps.
  • which settings did restore?
  • when did issue start? have made significant changes computer before issue started?
  • which version of windows using?

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
