i running below version , build of outlook on win7 64 bit computer. in last week outlook has stopped sending , receiving emails. way can send/receive close application , restart it. send/receive outstanding messages not work other submitted after restart. clicking send/receive button nothing. have tried repair , support , recovery assistant, neither produced changes. in fact support , recovery assistant hangs on login, using correct user id , password. says cannot issue anyways. noticed others having same issue i.

1. create new outlook profile rule out corruption in outlook profile. - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/...
2. type command in windows search box > right click on command prompt > run administrator > type ""sfc /scannow"" without quotes > run , when completes, configure outlook again.
3. please check if have lync or skype installed on computer starts when computer starts. if yes, out of skype , start outlook. basically, outlook need start first skype.

5. disable anti-virus temporarily.
6. there possibility add-in causing problem. rule out, start outlook in safe mode. hold ctrl key , click on outlook icon. don't leave ctrl key, till asks confirmation safe mode.
7. login windows new profile rule out problem in windows profile.
8. right click on outlook icon , run administrator.
9. file > options > advanced > check disable hardware graphics acceleration
10. permanently delete deleted / spam mails, if not needed. , empty junk / clutter / spam folders (other new name clutter in 2016), if not needed.
11. account settings > open account > more settings > under advanced tab, put inbox in root folder path. (if folders disappear, remove inbox here)
