Outlook 2016 unable to access legacy public folder - Microsoft Community

environment:

exchange hybrid setup , 1 exchange 2007 1 exchange 2013 , exchange online.

public folder located in exchange 2007.

follow guide, setup proxy mailbox. without steps 4

migrated users able access legacy public folder outlook 2013

issue

when outlook 2016, pubic folder not able expand.

is there fix of outlook 2016 make work ?

if migrated of public folder required, onpremis users required link new folder location "–defaultpublicfoldermailbox "?

based on current scope, it's not possible access legacy public folders of exchange 2007/2010 using outlook 2016.

there choices have follow:

1) move public folders exchange online users can access cloud (but on-prem  users cant access using outlook 2007, need have outlook 2010 sp2+ or outlook 2013

2) downgrade outlook to outlook 2010 sp2+ or outlook 2013 , can access, there won't fix know legacy public folders

3) move users & public folders exchange online , work latest version.



Office / Outlook / Other/unknown / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
