Word opens everything at Startup - Microsoft Community

thanks writing. wasn't it. startup folder blank , afaik has been.

also, assume startup folder have word open documents in folder.  that normal, if perhaps undesired behavior.  but if read bug reports, isn't that.  what we're seeing totally insane.  when happens, word appears open , ever opened, regardless folder or year.  hundreds of documents @ least -- , put more dozen in folder. 

i moved question office 2011 forum office 2016 forum because not using word 2011.

you're correct, if checked make sure word's startup folder isn't set startup volume, , have mac os set not restore @ open, we're @ loss of things try.

you have current update of office , word.

mac os, assumably, date.

one place hasn't been mentioned system user account startup items. there set there might trigger behavior?

you might try making new mac os user account , see if problem persists. if doesn't, there's preference or screwy in regular user account. if problem persists, there's screwy in mac os.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
