Word tries to do something perpetually as if trying to save and the - Microsoft Community

had file .doc 2000 , had save .docx 2013. saved in compatibility mode. behaves if trying save perpetually , difficult edit keeps saying word not responding in tool bar. if try save in 2013 version formatting goes hay wire. there way safely transfer 2000 file manageable format changes 2013. being 200 page document , not made using style based formatting.

note hiding page number , other information on status bar hides problem; doesn't offer true fix.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
