Something Wrong with my Onedrive Excel Sign in - Microsoft Community

i saved excel file in folder of personal onedrive, 

but click file open it, microsoft onedrive cannot sign it. 

any 1 me fix it.

this window pops up, keep typing account, , pretty sure account correct

there link on window, 'tell account want use open _vti_rpc'

i tries open it,

of course, excel 2016 auto save not functional.

i fixed problem reinstalling onedrive app.

the details are:

(1) able access account, right.

     onedrive app icon (in taskbar) says onedrive online, ok. 

     copy files (word, excel, pictures) in onedrive folder in pc, automatically sync , uploaded onedrive (can checked in web onedrive). think sync function ok.

(2) don't believe changed account, or profile of account, or option of onedrive app.

     issue is, copied excel files (word file, ppt file have no such problem), 

     copied excel files in onedrive folder in pc, want use office 2016 autosave function, when open these excel files copied in folder (in onedrive folder), required enter account , password.

    however, type password again , again, cannot these excel files (because microsoft account window pops up), therefore, have switch these files other folder (irrelevant onedrive), use these excel files normal.

 (3) using onedrive app, folder built on windows 10 64x

later, searched internet, , found useful commands 

%systemroot%\syswow64\onedrivesetup.exe /uninstall

%systemroot%\syswow64\onedrivesetup.exe

to reinstall onedrive.

it worked.

i don't know if unusual issue, or may happen others,

i wish provide information you.

oh, have question, excel autosave function.

i save excel files in onedrive app folder enable autosave function, works, cool feature.

but close excel file after editing, reopen ,the autosave not functional,

if reopen file in excel app, autosave works again.

so issue ok?

for example:

this onedrive app folder,

if open "kgdp.xlsx" directly folder

if open file in folder, excel autosave not work.

however, if open in excel app.

i click excel app, no file being opened.(just application)

through excel app, open kgdp.xlsx file, autosave works.

so designed work this? or issue.

because ppt files saved in onedrive folder, whatever open directly in folder, or open in powerpoint app,

the autosave function works.
