Failure to access Data File sending or receiving - Microsoft Community

after last update of windows 10 (2017-10-17) outlook couldn't find data file anymore, expect go wrong after major update, nothing can't handle.  anyway decided start outlook setup scratch, new default location e-mail , data files, , new names made more sense me.  worked flawlessly saved pst file, calendar, contacts e-mails , saved e-mails date, except minor glitch that's driving me nuts.  when open outlook, or refresh send/receive while it's open, accesses 2 different data files, 1 created, works great new emails there okay, tries sending , receiving from  data file deleted on year , half ago, not 1 using before win10 update, old 1 thought had long been deleted.  data file doesn't show on the new account set up, have 1 email account showing , set default new folder location, , 1 , 1 data file , it's default.  i've searched drives files , folders, including hidden files , folders, , doesn't exist.  i'd delete if can find stop getting error messages every time check emails.  believe i'll have registry fix it, doing online searches got me nowhere, , i'd appreciate give me on start.

if using ms outlook pop mail account , associated pst data file win update have has no impact on ms outlook data file. (you might have had repair office)

as use mail applet in control panel create new profile, add mail account set previous pst data file default store, start ol inder new profile

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
