Setting up Outlook - Microsoft Community

having issues setting outlook. when pop-up asking email , password shows up, enter correct email , current password however, not work... do?

you using windows outlook, right? if so, situation, suggestion clear credential in windows credential manager. 1. exit outlook.

2. start menu, select control panel.
3. click user accounts.
4. click credential manager.
5. in windows credentials , generic credentials section, remove stored credentials referencing office 365 or ms.outlook email addresses:
a. click  (details).
b. click remove vault.
c. click yes on warning box.
d. repeat these steps until remove of credentials associated email address.
6. close control panel window.
7. launch outlook.
