No built-in translation function for MS Office 2016 for Mac....Why - Microsoft Community

to ms engineers ...

i've read lot how ms office 2016 mac not being supported , confused why pay yearly subscription applications not meet standards of windows-based clients.  this incredibly short-sighted major clients, e.g. big corporations, pay loss in productivity suppliers particularly in creative fields.

my particular issue @ moment word , powerpoint don't have built-in translation features ... work in multi-lingual country , receive documents , presentations in various languages clients.  i suspect i'm not 1 frustrated lack of support in area.

and last point, technical support teams need aware when not going upgrade features or support functionality ... wastes great deal of time , mine.

look forward seeing microsoft step plate , support customers properly!

what wonderful rant!

it makes me feel bit bad have tell feature want built-in microsoft word, excel , outlook. not powerpoint, though, rant deserves @ least cred.

all have turn feature on.

in word, on insert menu choose store

in store, search translate or translator

then, click add button. on, translator available on insert tab of ribbon > add-ins.

translator opens in pane right, can undock dragging if prefer have float.

each app has different translation tool, screens different in excel , outlook.
