OneDrive deleted hundreds of files and now won't restore them. - Microsoft Community

hundreds of files mysteriously moved onedrive recycle bin.  i did not delete them.  when try restore them, first tells me 1 file restoring, changes 601 files restoring.  then, go right trash.  i have emailed regarding problem , been told looking it.  i can't wait, need these files use them every week.  how can there no instant support via phone or chat resolved?  we paying storage!  please files restored!

onedrive file-hosting service allows users store , manage files other personal data. better, confirm following:

  • are having issue onedroive online or onedrive app on device?
  • which version of windows running?
  • did make changes computer or settings?
  • have installed software or updates?

in meantime, there ways on how can recover deleted files. if using onedrive website, kindly use different browser , following:

  1. go onedrive website.

  2. on left pane, tap or click recycle bin.

  3. to restore items, tap or click restore items. permanently delete items, tap or click empty recycle bin. restore or permanently delete individual items, pick them selecting check boxes.

note: if you're signed into onedrive with microsoft account, items in recycle bin automatically deleted 30 days after they're put there. if recycle bin full, oldest items automatically deleted after 3 days. if you're signed in work or school account, items in recycle bin automatically deleted after 93 days, unless administrator has changed setting. see more information about how long deleted items kept for work or school accounts.

in windows 10, windows 8.1, or using onedrive desktop app

when delete files on onedrive using file explorer, they're moved computer's desktop recycle bin. unless recycle bin overflowing, files stay there until empty recycle bin.

to open recycle bin, double-tap or double-click recycle bin on desktop. then, right-click (or press , hold) item want restore, , select restore.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
