In sharepoint Form Library infopath form is creating new form instead - Microsoft Community

hi all,

i have simple infopath form published form library

there 4 5 sections inside form 

now go form library , click on new item provide basic details , click on submit button

now when open existing item update form in first section  other details  able provide details in other columns , click on submit button

when click on submit button instead of updating existing item creating new item in form library

if have rules columns in sections columns still in disabled state though condition met not enabled automatically.

i tested creating simple in infopath designer 2013. after publishing form sharepoint online, when go form library fill new form, save , save as option not submit.

now, if open existing form, update information , click save, save form same name , updated information. save form new name if click save as.

since getting issue , mentioned getting submit button, need following information understand situation better:

1. detailed steps reproduce issue.
2. which browser using?
3. please create new form , publish in different site, see if same thing happens.
4. please provide screenshot form library showing form layout in edit mode.
5. do give name when clicked on submit? name new item when clicked on submit?
